I. The following article warns of a newly discovered asteroid heading for Earth :
An asteroid the size of the one that recently buzzed the Ural’s has been discovered moving in the direction of Earth and is now considered a potentially hazardous asteroid to the planet. The asteroid is between 15 and 20 meters in size and is only 11,000 km away from the Earth. It is supposed to arrive within 24 hours and conspiracy theory forums are abuzz with rumors that the asteroid will strike Earth.

The space agency’s Near-Earth Object Program Office says the small space rock – dubbed 2011 MD – will pass 7,500 miles (12,000 kilometers) above Earth’s surface over the southern Atlantic Ocean at about 6:30 a.m. PDT (1330 GMT).
Though it will come close, it’s not a distance record holder. Earlier this year, a tiny asteroid flew by even closer – within 3,400 miles (5,500 kilometers).”
