So do I, I have read plenty of theories, and some sound scientific analysis. Some believe in aliens, some believe in gods, but what if there had been a branch of humanity that had evolved to a level beyond our own current abilities many thousands of years ago?
Is it possible this could be the missing piece to the puzzle?

The volume of these elongated Paracas skulls is larger than that of a human skull, this is seen in the extreme long skulls found elsewhere in South America as well. Deforming a skull (as some tribes in Africa do even today) does not increase its volume.
The cranial capacity of a human is between 1200 cc and 1850 cc with a maximum of 2000 cc (cc=cubic cm). The estimated cranial capacity of the elongated skulls of the Paracas region in Peru ranges between 2600 cc to 3200 cc.
One has to wonder if the increased brain mass of these elongated cranium people also gave them additional or extended mental capabilities.
All over the world, in places like Peru, Egypt, and Lebanon there is evidence that there was once a civilization with incomprehensible ability to build buildings and monuments with monolithic sized stones; cut and smoothed and designed to such precision and with such a grand scale, that we could not easily duplicate it today without the type of funding and effort that allowed NASA to launch rockets into space.

There are many histories and religions of the world, most of which mirror one another in many ways, yet none seem to quite fit together. Nor does what we know now about ancient and monolithic ruins found in key locations of the world fit into the dates given by the Bible and other historic references.
We have found and dated structures in Turkey, Bolivia, Peru, Lebanon and Egypt to be centuries older than the presumed 6,000 years history of mankind.
What if there had been an earlier, more advanced race of humans that faced a cataclysmic end to their existence, perhaps some natural disaster, perhaps they were slowly dying out due to some disease or inability to successfully reproduce, or perhaps they destroyed themselves with their own technology?

We know that Neanderthals existed some 30,000 years ago alongside humankind, but much like the Mammoths (relatives to Elephants) they died out… in fact there are dozens of animals that died out between 10 to 30,000 years ago, so why couldn’t it happen to an advanced branch of mankind?
What would they do? Would they try and save some form of themselves by evolving their closest genetic ‘cousins’? Would they enslave large groups of humans to do their bidding the way we domesticated and used horses to aid us for centuries?
Speaking of horses, did you know they originated from the Americas?
It’s true, horses originated in the Americas, somehow made it over to Asia, and then died out in the Americas some 10 to 12 thousand years ago (which happens to coincide with the timeframe it seems more than one megalithic site dates back to)… in fact many larger species died out in the Americas around that time.
Would these elongated skull ancestors find ways of ‘breeding’ their genetic make-up into select members of humanity, to better able to rule over them, or in hopes of passing on something of themselves?
Chephren – Egypt
Stories in the bible, ancient text from India, lost civilizations like the Sumerians, all talk about the gods breeding with humans.
The Nephilim (plural) are mentioned as the offspring of the “sons of God”, heavenly beings who came to earth and had sexual intercourse with women… reference to such is found in in Genesis 6:4 and a similar word with different vowel sounds is used in Ezekiel 32:27.
The term “Nephilim” occurs just twice in the Hebrew Bible, both in the Torah. The first is Genesis 6:1-4, immediately before the story of Noah’s ark:
The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose.
Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God were said to go to the daughters of men and have children by them. They became great heroes and leaders of legend.
Laws, math, farming, so much of what we know of ancient societies were all handed down ‘from the gods’, whether you are referencing the Bible, or other ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians and Egyptians, it is all the same… their rulers and prophets were in direct contact with their gods at that time, and most leaders claimed direct descent from them.
This would help explain why human civilizations suddenly rose up, out of nowhere, with complex writing skills, social organization, and many of the same historical stories. Isn’t it possible that cousins to humans evolved ahead of us, and were viewed as gods by our ancestors?
Imagine a catastrophe, like a polar shift, or meteor, devastating their civilization some 12,000 years ago, and only fragments of their people surviving, unable to regain what they had been in the aftermath. Passing on what they could to others before they passed away.
WWII Planes worshiped by remote island tribes
During WWII, pilots landed on a remote Pacific Ocean Island and impressed the natives with their technology, and gifted them with food and other items to gain their co-operation.
When the war was over and the pilots left, the natives built straw air-plane fetishes and created ritualistic runways, to coax their return.
The islanders did not see them as humans, like themselves, but rather gods with powers no human (as they understood themselves) could wield.
When Spanish conquistadors arrived in South America, the natives thought they were witnessing the return of the ‘White gods’ who had visited their people in antiquity, promising one day to return.
While the conquistadors were not significantly more advanced than the Aztec, Inca and Maya peoples they conquered, a couple hundred Spaniards (and in some cases, mere dozens) were able to topple entire nation states, bringing disease as well as weapons to bear against slightly less advanced civilizations, until all of South and Central America fell before them.
One has to wonder, just who those other ‘White gods’ were, that the South Americans were expecting to return…
