Japan has upgraded the severity rating at the paralyzed Fukushima nuclear plant to seven, a level only ever previously assigned to the Chernobyl disaster. Officials say it’s been raised, because high radiation has been recorded in the air, ocean and tap water.
But Japan’s nuclear safety agency is still reluctant to compare the dangers to what happened at Chernobyl, saying the radiation leak is still smaller.
Japanese officials announced on Tuesday morning that they will raise the event level at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant from a 5 to the maximum level of 7, the highest on the international scale for nuclear incidents and the same level assigned to the 1986 disaster at Chernobyl in the Ukraine.
I am sure that this nuclear accident is worst than Chernobyl. Please take protective measure and don’t believe the official reports. They are lying not to create panic.

A team of journalists enters the Fukushima restricted area to measures the radiation levels. Even though everything seems calm and almost normal, the radiation levels are very high. In some areas the people absorb the maximum radiation level admitted in one year, in under one day. Even though the levels are not high enough to provoke instant death, the long time effects are devastating: cancers, DNA damage, etc.
