The TPP is a bill that would promote GMOs heavily

It must have been looking rough at the polls. In some strange reversal of opinion, Hillary Clinton, recently named the ‘Bride of Frankenfood’ for her vocal and open support of GMOs and the biotech industry, has suddenly changed her tune.
Now, Clinton says she opposes a bill known as the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), one which she so fervently stood for in recent months. Why the sudden change over the TPP, Hillary?
Clinton’s agribusiness ties are no secret, so it seems odd that she should suddenly voice concern over a bill that was written and sealed with the blood (money) of the biotech industry and its political puppets.
Some have called the Trans Pacific Partnership a ‘wish’ list for multinational biotech (GMO and pharmaceutical companies).
Not only would the TPP further fast-track approval for genetically modified organisms into other countries (many whom have said they don’t want them), but it would also take states’ rights away to label or ban genetically modified organisms within their boundaries – the exact opposite of what recent changes to EU legislation have allowed EU countries to do.
EU countries can decide for themselves if they want to grow GM crops, or ban them. Many have decided to ban GMOs, along with Russia.
USA Today, the New York Times, and other mainstream media outlets have been busy telling the tale of Clinton’s ‘outing’ the TPP.
Clinton told an interviewer on PBS’s News Hour:
“I am not in favor of what I have learned about it.”
She goes on:
“I have said from the very beginning that we have to have a trade agreement that would create good American jobs, raise wages and advance our national security, and I still believe that is the high bar we have to meet.”
Clinton explained that she doesn’t believe the Trans-Pacific Partnership between the United States and 11 other Pacific Rim nations “is going to meet the high bar I have set.”
Only the politicians and those who bribe them truly know what goes on behind closed doors, but this quote drips of political maneuvering in a pre-presidential dalliance.
Hillary flirted with the biotech industry, but forgot her constituents largely want GM food labeled, so NOW she decides not to support the TPP over ‘jobs?’ Come on.
Her opponent, Joe Biden supports the TPP, of course, until he needs to lie to the American people just as Obama did before his presidential election, when he promised to label GMOs.
Do we really believe any of these goons anymore?
